Fast Forward
By Brianna Gail Bolden

A years worth of living, neatly packed into a small bag that hung over his shoulder. A glistening streak ran down her face as he ran his fingers through her thick brown hair. Just one last time for what would seem like forever, he placed his smooth lips on her forehead. She dreaded the thought of seeing him walk away not knowing what their future would be. She had known since the day they met, that this would soon be. Time went by quick waiting for this day to come. If now, she could only make the time of his abscence fast forward some how. Neither of them had doubts of their strength in each other, after all, distance makes the heart grow fonder. Just wishing time away, wishing time away, for the day that he soon returns.
